don’t drink this

someone from the band last night left a monstrous unopened can of Jolt Blue on stage. so i drank it today for lunch. bad move. i’m ok with most of the ‘energy drinks’. not this. this is like squirting blue raspberry* concentrate in your mouth and getting a dull electric shock. no, the kind of shock when the cute girl you have a crush on says she’ll go to the winter formal with you. no, more like licking a rusty 6 volt battery.

*did you know that raspberry had a ‘p’ in it? seriosuly. i would’ve gotten that wrong in the spelling bee.

Yesterday, Serious Eats reported on the Hot Beef Sundae trend that’s
sweeping the country. The dish can be found across the nation at state
fairs from Florida to Nebraska. The Hot Beef Sundae is comprised of
mashed potatoes, roast beef, more mashed potatoes, gravy, cheese,
and a cherry tomato.

enter the Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheeseburger. instant death? perhaps. yet it’s so hard to resist. should someone make me one of these, they will indeed receive a prize of ginormous proportions.

breakfast

bethany was helping lead a middle school girls overnighter. dang, she’s awesome. when I brought her home, we realized there was nothing that could qualify for breakfast, and she had to be at work in half an hour. there was no food and more importantly, no coffee (gasp). so the local st. arbucks we were off to. for those of you that want to take me out I’m a grande breve mocha kind of guy.

anyhow, the chocolate chip banana coffee cake caught my eye. when I took the first bite of that 2lb hunk of goodness my life was changed somewhat. do you owe yourself a little something? yeah, go get it…
